OH. MY. USER.
So, I had known that a Tron sequel is in the works. I am usually very jaded about sequels, but this one has just the right something. I've also heard that Lassiter is somewhat behind it at Disney, and he's gone on record saying how influential Tron was to Pixar.
Well, with San Diego ComicCon coming up, there's a viral campaign being released.

Advertising, Truth, and Literal Interpretations
So, we have some commercials for AM PM minimarts out here (although I don't think we actually have any in Chicago). The commercials are some improbable situation where slobish guys get their wishes granted or something. They're pretty standard fare. However, it's the logic of the literal copy that fascinates me. They all end saying something like "you can never have too much good stuff," followed immediately by the tag line "AM PM: Too much good stuff."
Hmm. So let's see. Are they saying
A) It's impossible to have too much good stuff, therefore AM PM's existence is itself a paradox?
or
B) *You* can never have too much good stuff. Since we have too much good stuff, we cannot give it to you, because you can never have it.
The mind reels.
